Inside, guests will find a newly renovated bathroom and a fully self-contained kitchen equipped with a dishwasher and other appliances. Comfort is assured with a wall split-system air conditioner and a gas heater, while the cozy lounge room includes a sofa bed to expand accommodation options for more guests. For entertainment, a smart TV and WiFi are available, along with full laundry facilities. The master bedroom features a King-Size bed, and the second bedroom is fitted with a Queen-Size bed to ensure restful sleep. The bathroom and separate toilet have been renovated recently and offer a shower and bathtub. Step out onto the large deck to take in breathtaking views of the Grampians Mountains and enjoy the expansive backyard complete with outdoor furniture and a designated fire pit for the cooler winter months. If you love wildlife, this is the spot for you. Look over the fence to view the kangaroos, sit on the deck and see the birds fly through the valley. Lean back, relax and let the wildlife inspire you. Please note that guests are required to bring their own firewood for the fire pit, which can be used weather permitting.
Other Details to Note
A walk to the town centre is approximately 20 mins, similar distance to the Brambuk Cultural Centre into the opposite direction along the creek or the walking tracks along the main road. Check-in is from 3pm, check-out is 10:00am! Security Deposit We kindly ask for a security deposit of $300 for each booking for the unlikely event of accidental or intentional damage, missing or stolen items or excessive cleaning required after check-out. This deposit will be securely processed through Hospitable, collected 2 days before check-in and released 2 days after check-out. In most cases, the deposit is placed as an authorisation hold on the guest’s payment method rather than charged immediately. This means the funds are temporarily reserved but not withdrawn from the guest’s account.

The house is tucked away in one of the quieter, flatter parts of Halls Gap, on peaceful Tandara Road with no through traffic. The road comes to an end near the creek, creating a wonderfully tranquil setting while still being within easy reach of everything Halls Gap has to offer. From the house, you can wander along nearby tracks towards the village, Brambuk or into the surrounding bush and mountains. Keep an eye out as you go — this is a place where wildlife is very much part of everyday life. Kangaroos regularly graze just across the fence, while Kookaburras, Cockatoos and other native birds are frequent visitors. You might even spot climbers and hikers making their way home after a day exploring the peaks. It’s the kind of place where you can slow down, step outside and feel immersed in the Grampians, while still having Halls Gap right on your doorstep.
