Other Details to Note
A walk to the town centre is approximately 20 mins, similar distance to the Brambuk Cultural Centre into the opposite direction along the creek or the walking tracks along the main road. Check-in is from 3pm, check-out is 10:00am! Security Deposit We kindly ask for a security deposit of $300 for each booking for the unlikely event of accidental or intentional damage, missing or stolen items or excessive cleaning required after check-out. This deposit will be securely processed through Hospitable, collected 2 days before check-in and released 2 days after check-out. In most cases, the deposit is placed as an authorisation hold on the guest’s payment method rather than charged immediately. This means the funds are temporarily reserved but not withdrawn from the guest’s account.

Nestled amongst the trees, the neighbourhood feels wonderfully secluded and peaceful, with abundant wildlife and glimpses of the surrounding mountains through the forest. The sun filters gently through the tall trees, creating a calm, relaxed atmosphere that makes it easy to slow down and switch off. You’ll often hear the native birds before you see them, while kangaroos and other wildlife are regular visitors. The gravel road has no through traffic, so it’s wonderfully quiet — just the sounds of the bush, the occasional local visitor and plenty of fresh mountain air. It’s a little corner of Halls Gap where nature takes centre stage.
Guest Access
You’ll have access to the entire property during your stay, so make yourself at home. Enjoy the cottage, all outdoor areas, deckings and the front - and backyard. There’s plenty of room to relax, enjoy the views, have a BBQ or simply sit back and take in the peaceful surrounds. The property is exclusively yours during your stay. We offer easy self check-in, so you can arrive and settle in at your own pace. All check-in details and access instructions will be provided before your arrival. The only areas that are off-limits are any clearly marked private storage areas or locked spaces.
Find Us
Walking tracks take you directly to Halls Gap town centre (appr 1.5km, 20mins walking) or the other direction to Brambuk Cultural Centre (appr. 1km, 15mins walking). By car, it takes you two minutes along Grampians Rd to get into Halls Gap.
